Consultant
Dr. Scott Shallow is a Sports Medicine physician at the Kingston Orthopaedic Pain Institute (KOPI), and Q Sports Medicine. He completed his specialty and subspecialty training at Queen’s University and McMaster University. His clinical practice spans the full scope of Sports & Exercise Medicine, with particular expertise in ultrasound-guided procedures—including prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and viscosupplementation—as well as comprehensive concussion care and compartment pressure testing for chronic exertional compartment syndrome.
Scott’s event and team coverage experience includes the Kingston Frontenacs (OHL) and Belleville Senators (AHL), along with Queen’s varsity football, women’s rugby, and men’s and women’s basketball. He also has served as a consultant for the Ottawa Redblacks (CFL) and has supported national and large-scale events, including the Canada Summer Games and the FISU Summer World University Games, where he served as a Team Canada team physician.
Dr. Shallow also serves as a Sports Medicine consultant with Kingston Sport Science Inc., offering consultation and clinical care for their clientele, while continuing to practice independently at KOPI and Q Sports Medicine.
